Losing Fat and Building Muscle

Can You Build Muscle and Lose Fat at the Same Time?

Yes, you can!

If you want to build muscle and lose fat at the same time you are going to have to spend a lot of time learning about how metabolism works, figure out what type of body you have, how it reacts to certain foods and then customize a diet for your body.

Keep in mind that you must stay 100% committed to this diet if you want to get the results you are looking for. It will require precision eating. This mean you are going to have to weigh out your food and know the exact number of carbs, calories, proteins and other nutrients that you are putting into your body. Its like a biology science project. If your carb and calorie intake is too high or too low than it is not going to work. Same thing goes for all the other nutrients that you decide to put into your body. Missing the Diet for just 1 weekend can really screw up the whole process.

Figuring out the diet is just the first step. You must also customize a work out plan that allows you to work every muscle in your body over a routine that you must stay 100% committed to. Missing 1 work out can hinder your gains or muscle and loss of fat. Be very careful not to over work your muscles because then you will be losing muscle and losing fat at the same time. Most people have routines of doing 3 sets with 8 to 12 reps but you must figure out how your body reacts to lifting weights and go by how you feel.

Certain muscles can be worked out multiple times a week while other ones take longer to heal and should only be worked out once or twice a week. There is a lot of research you are going to need to do to get this right.

Depending on your metabolism rate you may or may not want to add cardio into you exercise routine. People with low metabolism rates usually do more cardio than someone with a fast metabolism.

In the end it is about having all the bases covered and staying 100% committed to this lifestyle. It is not like going to work for 8 hours, you will be committed to this lifestyle 24 hours a day 7 days a week in order to work properly.
